How Stability handles personal information in New Zealand.

Last updated 16 October 2026.

Stability is provided by Design Box Digital Pty Ltd (ABN 51 657 551 169), an Australian company ("we", "us"). We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) when dealing with personal information about people in New Zealand.

What we collect

  • Contact details you give us, such as your name, email, phone and business, when you ask for a demo or sign up.
  • Account and usage information when you use the app.
  • Information our customers (stables) enter about their staff, owners and horses. For this information the stable decides what is collected, and we handle it on their behalf.

Why we collect it

To provide and support the service, bill our customers, respond to enquiries, keep the service secure and meet legal obligations. We don't sell personal information.

Where it's stored

The service runs on providers including Cloudflare, and email goes through our email provider. Information may be stored or processed outside New Zealand, including in Australia and the United States. Before disclosing information overseas, we take reasonable steps under IPP 12 to make sure it's protected in a way comparable to the Privacy Act.

Security

We use encryption in transit, two-factor sign-in for admins and owners, and separate data for each stable. If a privacy breach is likely to cause serious harm, we'll notify affected people and the Privacy Commissioner as the Act requires.

Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct your personal information by emailing support@stability.software. If your information was entered by a stable, we may refer your request to them.

Complaints

Contact us first. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
